OutRankMe exists to honor veterans, service members, and those who stand beside them by giving them a way to wear their rank, their story, and their pride in a respectful and meaningful way.

Where the Name Comes From

In the military, rank means responsibility. It means experience. It means respect.
OutRankMe is a friendly challenge rooted in that culture. A nod that says, I see you. I know what it took to earn that.

The name is not about superiority. It is about shared understanding among those who served.

A Veteran Father. A Son with a Mission.

OutRankMe was co founded by Jorge Fernandez, a United States Army veteran, and his son Juan Ortiz.

Jorge served his country and carries that service with him every day. He is a 100 percent disabled U.S. Army veteran whose experience shaped not only his life, but the values of this brand. Like many veterans, his service came with sacrifice, both seen and unseen. OutRankMe was born from the desire to honor that reality, not hide it, and not commercialize it.

Juan grew up watching what service meant beyond the uniform. He saw the discipline, the pride, the quiet weight veterans carry, and the lack of products that truly respected that identity. Together, father and son built OutRankMe to create something veterans could wear without feeling misrepresented or reduced to a logo.

This brand is personal.
It is built from lived experience, not marketing trends.
